Careers/Designer

Designer

San Francisco, CA∙Full-time

Datacurve provides the frontier coding data that powers the world's most advanced models. We absorb and standardize deeply, highly-specialized knowledge to create the world's first autonomous data engine, allowing us to teach the next generation of models mastery across all types of knowledge work. We work directly with the most ambitious AI research labs in the world.

About the Role

As a Designer at Datacurve, you’ll directly build products that will shape the future of how agents and humans work together. As we push the frontier of agentic capabilities, you’ll invent the interfaces that will define how users interact with them.

This means supporting existing products and building new ones from the ground up. You’ll work in tight circles with our product team to challenge existing interaction paradigms, and lean heavily into contrarian takes to ship focused and highly intentional work.

What we're looking for
  • High autonomy: The capacity to confidently navigate ambiguity and high pressure environments while still shipping thoughtful work with speed.
  • Sharp product intuition: Being unafraid and opinionated on how we should approach designs without established patterns; getting excited about reinventing the wheel.
  • Quality craftsmanship: What we build becomes our legacy. Our team takes enormous pride in holding a high bar, and we look for people to both preserve and push said bar.
  • Curiosity and conviction: You are deeply curious about emerging technology, agentic behavior, user interactions, and bridging the gap between the two.
What you'll do
  • Support existing products, and work closely within tight circles with product managers and engineers to build products end-to-end.
  • Iterate on designs, creating working prototypes, and leverage coding agents to test product behavior and technical constraints.
  • Craft novel product interactions to abstract technically-complex concepts through motion, design and illustrations.
  • Work closely with users to gather feedback on products, then rapidly ideate and deploy new solutions.
